What the hell did I see?(yes the sticker is in the way!). It has Fuchs and looked like a GT40, but it wasn't a GT40. A kit car??

It sounded like a 4 cylinder for sure. Sounded like a Porsche 944, but was much louder, so I'll say yes, it may have been air cooled.

Actually, looking at some pictures of 904s, the mirror placement was closer to the doors rather than up front on the fenders.

On the Beck 904s, the mirrors are on either the fender or the door, it changes from car to car
